PHILOSOPHY

         The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Courses of the Batangas College of Arts and Sciences, Inc. shall exist for the development of an individual as an educator who is imbued with good moral values, active in the pursuit of academic excellence, committed to effecting social changes and dedicated to the search for new knowledge.

VISION-MISSION

          Guided by its philosophy, the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Courses of the Batangas College of Arts and Sciences, Inc. are envisioned as center on the development of educational leaders, researchers, counselors and professionals in the region. This will be achieved by providing excellent education that is holistic, interdisciplinary, innovative and culture-sensitive.

         The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Courses of the Batangas College of Arts and Sciences, Inc. aim to implement training and development programs responsive to the educational and professional needs of administrators, faculty and students and to contribute significant research for policy formulation, knowledge expansion and attitude and value formation.

OBJECTIVES

          The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Courses of the Batangas College of Arts and Sciences, Inc. aim to train future elementary and secondary teachers imbued with ideals, aspirations rooted on Filipino culture, possessing genuine desire to promote and facilitate learning, and who will be conveyors of organized knowledge in all disciplines with excellence to be globally competitive.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Courses of the Batangas College of Arts and Sciences, Inc. shall be able to:

  • Produce an adequate supply of teachers trained to teach in all disciplines in the elementary and secondary levels;

  • Enhance programs of BEEd and BSEd to provide opportunities to students in neighboring areas leading to the formation of a center for quality and excellence in the field of education;

  • Work with the thrust of the community in its role of nation-building through general education program that instill love of country, culture, moral integrity, dignity, work and spiritual vigor.
